Abstract The European Commission strategic long-term vision for a prosperous, modern, competitive and climate-neutral economy by 2050 outlines main blocks to maximise the benefits of energy efficiency, including zero emission buildings deployment renewables use electricity fully decarbonise Europe’s supply. following EU Climate Target Plan 2030 underlines, once again even more urgently than in 2050, strong need build sustainable resilient Europe, this high objective means cleaner air, security energy-efficient buildings. Looking at these directives, Italy has signed PNIEC, with whom intends pursue an indicative target reducing consumption equal 43% primary 39.7% final compared PRIMES 2007 reference scenario. To achieve goal, particular attention is paid existing such as Palazzo De Simone. This historical building, built eighteenth century on project architect Raguzzini, located Benevento (BN), now home four different uses: Simone Theatre, Chapel, faculty University Sannio Conservatory Benevento.
